Enjoy a fantastic Florida holiday in luxurious townhouse / condo within a gated community. Regal Palms resort is situated next to Highlands Reserve Golf Club, in a quieter more exclusive part of Orlando, yet just 15 minutes drive from Disney. The resort also provides a shuttle service to Disney and Universal parks. Our condo is fully furnished and equipped. Kitchen includes fridge freezer, oven and stove top, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker- even a washer/drier. Bedrooms: two masters with ensuites and one twin with ensuite. Fully air-conditioned throughout. All bedding, towels etc provided. The resort has a 2.5 acre tropical swimming complex with water slides, lazy river, Jacuzzi and sundecks. The clubhouse has a restaurant, games room, business centre with Internet cafe, fitness and beauty centre, and sports bar. Supermarket, shops and take-aways (Chinese and pizza) are close by so too is Appleby and Wallmart. Everything you need for the perfect self catering holiday.

| Notes: | The lounge features a sofa bed, sofa and cable TV. Outside there is parking for two cars. The property is not overlooked at the back and has a pleasant view looking out over water. Being south facing it gets the sun most of the day and is ideal for sunbathing. There is also a small balcony off the master suite. It is just a few minutes walk from the house to the pool and clubhouse. One of the bedrooms (the twin) is on the ground floor and is totally self contained - even with its own front entrance. It is suitable for disabled / elderly persons or for anyone wanting 'their own space!' |
Attractions Disney, Universal, Sea World etc, are all easily accessed via Interstate 4 or Highway 192 (5 minute drive to junction) . We are centrally situated between the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. A visit to Kennedy Space Centre (head east) or the white sands of Clearwater beach (head west) makes a great day out. Tickets for the various theme parks and shows can be purchased at the concierge desk in reception to save queing and a shuttle bus runs twice a day to Disney and Universal. Be wary of discounted ticket stalls as most are linked to timeshare viewings.
Restaurants and Shopping There is a restaurant in the club which can get quite busy so best to book in advance. A huge selection of restaurants and bars are a ten minute drive away on Highway 192 from fast food to gourmet dining. Old Town is a nice venue for dining, music and entertainment. For self catering meals there is a large Publix supermarket just up the road and a Wall Mart close by. In the same retail complex as Publix there are a couple of takeaways if you don't fancy cooking. There is also a hairdressers/manicurist and an off-licence. For those bargain clothes and gifts be sure to come with an empty case or hold-all and visit one of the many outlet malls. The liquor store next to Publics also sells phone cards - by far the cheapest way of making national or international calls.
Golf Information: Regal Palms is an ideal base for golfing trips. Highlands reserve is across the road from Regal Palms and it's a well designed par 70 course which high and low handicap golfers alike will enjoy. Green fees are around $25. There are several other high quality courses within a 15 minute drive. There is a also a tennis court planned for the resort (under construction).
